Inside, the home is simply stunning. One thing that we have noticed about homes in an environment with such breathtaking scenery is that architects make the most of it. We will commonly find massive floor-to-ceiling windows to accommodate the panoramic views. Villa De Lago is certainly no different as the minds behind the design show us that they considered just about everything.

In the same space, guests will be able to sit beside the fireplace as they make the most of the ambiance. We're not backing down from our position of not being travel guides. However, we hear that Tahoe is lovely between the summer and winter seasons as the weather remains gorgeous and tourists aren't as plentiful. That's relevant because we also think it would be the best time to make the most of this gorgeous living area, fireplace and all.
As we continue through the villa, we find some recurring themes. One of those themes is the use of natural materials.
Don't get us wrong, we're big fans of modern and cutting edge. However, nestled in the woods, the designer certainly did the overall aesthetic of the home a big favor by sticking with more natural tones.
However, sprinkled in here and there, we find some modern updates that intertwine with the classic California mountain lodge theme to make it a space that's simply irresistible.
The icing on the cake are the indoor entertainment and relaxation features. Inside, we find things like a pool table and even a sauna. We have to warn you because upon booking a stay here, you might just never want to leave.
Last but not least, the folks behind this listing promise that it's near a variety of sights, shopping, dining, and more. We're not quite sure why one would be so inclined to leave this wonderful view but for those who do, the Villa is a 10-minute drive to Zephyr Cove and Nevada beaches. There are also several nearby ski resorts for those in love with the slopes.
